Senait Dyson, M.D.
Co-Director, Dyson Moseley Lab
I’m a board certified dermatopathologist and
dermatologist. I completed a dermatology residency at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, where I received superb training in general/surgical dermatology and dermatopatholgy.
After my dermatology residency, I completed a fellowship in dermatopathology at the University of Texas-MD Anderson Cancer Center. While there, I gained significant experience in the microscopic diagnosis of benign and malignant skin tumors and inflammatory skin conditions.
In 2005, I joined The University of California, Irvine (UCI) Department of Dermatology as the Director of Dermatopathology. While at UCI, I split my time between interpreting dermatopathology specimens, caring for patients in the dermatology clinic, providing hospital consultations, teaching residents and medical students, lecturing on a wide range of skin diseases around the country as well as participating in and completing many research projects.
In 2009, my family relocated to Arizona. Since arriving in Tucson, I have continued to interpret dermatopathology specimens for referring physicians, caring for patients presenting with a wide range of skin conditions and have stayed active in local and national dermatology and dermatopathology societies.
